Hello All,
I have come across a bug which I would like to address. I would like to let you know in case it is indeed a bug, and also so I can hopefully find a workaround if it isn’t.
When using Dynamesh I had begun making a model. I had Polygroups set to on so that I could keep the different elements separate. After a while I wanted to split the model into a few subtools, each of which as a Dynamesh. So I hid certain Polygroups and used Split Hidden to create the Subtools. I consistently get a crash on trying to save. The mesh is still set to Dynamesh when I split into Subtools.
I was wondering if I should instead be turning off Dynamesh before splitting, or if it is at all possible to have several Dynamesh Subtools? I do not have a picture of the crash in action, and I cannot remember off hand the exact error message, although every time it fails and every time ZBrush crashes to desktop.
