Dynamesh Boolean Intersect?

Hi, I know this is rather a N00b question but I’m having a hard time getting an Intersection effect from the Merge Down/Dynamesh process. Even with the third boolean icon selected in my subtool list, I still only get a subtraction (not an intersect)

Can someone please tell me what I’m doing wrong? Thanks

I’m also having the same problem. When I select the intersection icon of my subtool, merge and redynamesh, I get the same result as substraction.
