dynamesh and retopology

I have seen some vidoes of people using zbrush4r2 with dynamesh to make a creature then use zpheres for retopology to be used in maya etc. My question is doesnt dynamesh fix the retopology or do I need to still use zpheres for retopology?

Dynamesh is really just for creating a rough base mesh. Not for a highly detailed sculpt. Dynamesh does fix your topology but the mesh is still way too dense for use in other applications. So you still need retopology to create a lower resolution mesh with a nice edge flow.
