Dynamesh and mesh integrity question

At a certain point in my sculpting I find that pulling too much stretch the mesh so I use Dynamesh to even out the polygons. It does even out polygons but also flatten out details on other parts of the sculpture. How do I address this problem? Any tutorials dealing with this kind of workflow out there?

duplicate your mesh first. dynamesh to clean up your topology, then project your details back down. If you have project turned on in your dynamesh options this will happen automatically for you.

If your using dynamesh for detail work then you’ll want to up your dynamesh resolution if you’re losing your details.
