i have a question.
how can i draw The Groove the same as this picture with this turn and this shape.
thanks a lot
Radial symmetry springs to mind.
- Put whatever object you want to do this to onto the canvas and make sure Edit is o and that its a PolyMesh3D.
- In the Transform Menu turn on Symmetry.
- Set Symmetry to Y and turn on the R button and give it a try (Meaning sculpt on your object).
- If you need more or less you can set Radial Count to whatever you like.
You can also duplicate a single stroke by hitting Shift 1 on the keyboard with your mouse over your object, its very fun actually.
If you haven’t already worked it out(it has been 5 days) try SweepProfile3D in the Tool menu to give you the outline shape then Mask by Alpha - Col then Deformation-Size or Inflate then remove masking from the area you want to spiral and apply Twist on Y axis
Here is the link to the Zclassroom video showing Masking Primitives if you are unfamiliar with the process.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7eUotErvxM
and a quick pic so I could be sure I wasn’t talking b****cks:)
hmmm…
WHAT is the Sweep Curve Primitive?
I cant find it!
Also…
Theres something wrong with all my curve brushes in 4R6 64.
This is odd…
That’s not the name. It’s SweepProfile3D I believe.
