Hi everyone, Thanks for your comments. I had turned the color saturation down to give it an old feel and had it much less than it is, almost black and white, but turned it up a couple notches. Sometimes you try things and they don’t convey the way you want. When everyone notices the same thing, there’s something to it. I had also planned to insert a picture of my 10 year old nephew as a reflection in the window, but thought it might be too busy.
Pilou, I can’t wait to see that movie.
Bye all. 50.
Very beautiful scene. I love every part of it.
My thanks, Vlad.
Wow that turned out great! Much better than I had envisioned while viewing your little teasers!!
I see you “solved” your shadow problem:D
Hi everyone, I took the ‘cooler-warmer’ comments on the lighting to heart and I think it helped. I also put it into a card format. Thanks for your input.

Top Row, Five Oh, Top Row!
Super rich rendering - and I like the lights. Definitively, one of your best anthologies, sir.
Sven
Everytime is better than your previous.

I love the nostalgic feeling of the original. The bright neon ish colors give it a more hip and modern feel which is a good improvement as well. I love the display you set up though. Reminds me of alot earlier and more simple times. Great detail and clarity of the image draws me in and adds to the illusion of depth of the storefront. Superior work as always, Rich. Happy holidays to you and yours.
Ron
I love the winter season, the best time of the year. More people are friendly and willing to offer up a smile. Did I tell you I love to shop for my daughter Nisha, so I saw this wonderful store. As I peered inside the warm glows of his toys, I just had to pick one up. The greeted with a warmth of a friend long ago. I said to him. Sir that wagon, my daughter would love it, perhaps I might buy it from you. He smiled the sun of summer, of course, he said. I knew my little one would love it. I said thanks to him and gave him a nice handshake and whistled. frosty the snowman… Signed, Elvetree the Explorer
I really like your scene, keep up the good warmth, and you definately added some nice warmth to the image:D
Oh, my gosh, I can’t believe I made it to the TOP ROW! Thanks ZBC!
tdrs, Cameo, Jason, Sven, Leo, Froyd, Ron, and Elvetree,…thank you all for your kind comments. It makes it all worth doing. I had more fun on this picture than any I’ve done.
Elvetree,…I was waiting for someone to say something about having no ‘Girly’ toys in the picture. I was going to say that there was,…IN the green pacakage in the wagon.
Now I have to come up with another idea. That can be the hardest part. See ya everyone and you all have a wonderful holiday season. 50.
For a moment I was afraid you had lost your marbles 50. An airship, a sled, rifles? But now it all comes together, your still sane and made a charming picture;) The new lighting suits without taking away from that old fashioned feel. Don’t agree with the white border though.
Very nice picture
Nice work. It could do with some more interesting lighting perhaps
You top row people are all alike.
Great image.
Tremendous savings on one of my xmas cards.
Happy Holidays!!!
