Dragon wing question.

hey everyone,

i am a noob to zbrush, and am working on my first piece, a dragon. i created the base mesh in 3ds max. in the base mesh i created the webbing of the wings. the problem i am having is that the opposite faces of the wings are so close together that what i do on one side is executed in reverse on the other side. i made sure that i had double facing shut off under tool>display properties so the reverse sides shouldnt be executed. is there a way to avoid this? should i not have created the webbing so early? is there a better way to have gone about this?

Activate the “Backface Auto Mask” in the brush palette:)

back face masking under your brush menu very useful for sculpting thin surfaces such wing membrane and clothes.

wow, i wish i would have posted this a week ago before i accidentally smoothed away all of the detail on one sied of the wing. that worked. you guys are great. thanks so much.
