Doubled mesh objects via SmtResym

I was working on a model using smart resym when I noticed the an increasing number of “off” points on the resymed half of my model. Regrouping the mesh showed a secon set of legs had been created.

I searched and now realize this most likely occured by resymming at high lvl and not starting from div 1.

So how can I get rid of this extra pair of feet that are inside the main model?
As I still have a good side to my mesh I am hoping I can get the extra feet deleted then can resym from the good side at div 1 and correct the remaining point screewups on the bad side.

Try to do a resym-then a smart resym

Tried that… just keeps messing up the points on the bad side more. Its like there are 2 meshes overlapping each other on the foot.

I figure if I can delete the extra feet (which is what I can’t figure out how to do), then drop it down to lvl 1 and resym it from the good side and smart sym my way back u I should be good to go.

Its the extra feet being the problem… somehow they got created duing my incorrect smart sym attempts earlier.

Btw I tried delete hidden… didn’t work

because smart resymm wont even work for me. if i mask the good half that i just edited, then try to smart resymm the other side it doesn’t do anything. i am assuming that smart resymm is the same as in zb2?? it worked great for me in zb2, but it’s wierd now in zb3.

btw…zb3 rocks…

I dont see what ZB3 has to do with this

Still need help figureing out how to delete the extra pair of feet… cannot continue till the extra mesh issue is resolved.

Come on aurick… Don’t let me down
