Double Color Sampling

Hi.

I have a problem where when I sample a color (C-Key) and start painting, I notice two red squares that indicate where I am painting instead of just one. One of those tiny squares is exactly where I want to paint, the other is somewhere random on the model. As a result, painting gets done on both areas, instead of just the one I want to paint on. What causes this?

Thanks for any replies!

Forget it. I answered a similar question in another post, and learned from there what I did wrong…I accidentally hit the X-key instead of the C-key, when sampling color, and inadvertently entered symmetry mode.
