Dot-view? Or something... :)

Hey there!

Here what i want to do: Sculpt a human head which is transparent with a human head reference photo behind it.

The thing is; I can’t get opacity to work! For me it only works with subtools but it wont work with just a picture on the canvas.

Anyway, playing around in zb3 trying to get it to work; my model appears as a bunch of dots each times i turn it around, and it shows the picture in the background! Excellent i thought… But it goes back to normal each time i release the rotate button.

So… how am do i put that “dot-view” thingy on permanently so ic an sculpt in it OR how do i make my current tool transparent so i can see a picture behind it on the canvas?

A step-by-step tutorial would be great!

Thanks

transparent mode only works when you have subtools, so what you could do is add a sphere subtool and move it out to of the way and then you can activate transparency.

you can also control the transparency under preferences - draw - with maxdepth, activeopc, and inactiveopc
