I’m excited to share the finished asset from my previous work in progress! This Hell Priest from DOOM has been a welcomed departure from my previous work.

Based on concept art by Alex Palma
A DOOM Priest that I believe was not used. The art was a line drawing so I pulled what I could from the Priests in-game to help flesh out the model.

For the organic sculpting, I hand sculpted all the details in the skin and used a mix of alpha including texturing.xyz textures for the leather detailing.
The hard surface was done primarily in zbrush using live booleans, zmodeler, zremesher and hand sculpting, along with Maya to retopo for some cleaner meshes in some instances.
Substance 3D Painter was used for all of the texturing.
The asset is real-time and rendered in Unreal Engine 5
