Ha, that’s cool. It has a very HR Giger look to it.

addictive:)

dustinbrown, thank you! Ah yes, i thought the reference was so obvious that i didnt need to name it.

EDIT of the EDIT: image again

:slight_smile:

I need to make me one
lol!

Awesumm! :smiley: I really like your work.

Kind of poetic ! :+1:

i really like your stuff alot. nice vision. i wanted to say or ask one thing. do you think the use of zspheres is a little tell tale? what i mean to say is, for some reason, with the new release, everyone is incorperationg the base zsphere appearance into there models to the point where they look unfinished or even unattempted or unrealized. youre a fine artist, and while your use of the spheres isnt at tacky as alot have been, arent you worried that youll put all of this work into a piece or two only to find, in a year, that a million and one novice zbrushers have work that resembles yours because of the power of the effect and the “cool” aspect of it. unless im talking out of my arse and you plan on finishing the skeleton so that it is unrecognisable as a zspere rig. i dont want to insult. i feel like i am. i just am not a fan of “the one button that does everything”. and i think that if there is that “one button” then as an artist, especially a skilled artist, we should take it to a new and unrecognizable level. and i guess im not really asking this of you
 perhaps the entire zbrush community. the rest of your work looks spectacular.

@mjolnir
The difference between Erklaerbar’s use of zspheres and majority novices is like comparing pencil sketches of a novice to M.C.Escher - if all you can see is the fact that a pencil was used you’re not really looking at it at all.

Anyways, I think artists for the most part are explorers, and getting new tools to use is a ton of fun to explore. I wouldn’t stress about millions of novices, that’s a very good thing!

The wider the valleys, the more dramatic the peaks appear to be :cool:

3Point14, Mahlikus, cherub: Thank you!

Super Glitcher, thank you, Sir.

asecbrush, :lol:

mjolnir, thank you too! I know what you mean. The last 3 models all were byproducts of my first trials with 3.5. So they are “doodles” really, and as most things in here not perfect. Youre right, its not outstanding. The gag with raw zspheres is less exclusivity rather than its simply new. But then i didnt spend that much time on it either, im a lazy bone you know:)

ok, last one i promise

have to agree with mjolnir tho cool technic but too unified skin looking-
like the opposite of clean topo??

Erklaerbar its been a while, your work always is top notch. :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:<input id=“gwProxy” type=“hidden”><!–Session data–><input onclick=“jsCall();” id=“jsProxy” type=“hidden”>

fantasy ! :cool:

Erklaerbar
 i figured thats what you were doing. and to tell you the honest truth, for the past week or two ive been seeing thumbnails on the second to top row and getting excited to see a model, and then i open the page and i see a rig. i think i was kind of losing my cool finally. i think that if you took your silhouettes and went to town you would have Great models. but the part about the zspher look is that its not clean. it looks like there is intersecting geometry in alot of places. you know, where the spheres pop in and out of one another. but your skull plant
 the form is really excelent. where it could go is really excelent. the first scull sculpt you did with the spheres, you blended it well so its not blatent. it looks geigeresque.

super glitcher
 i didnt mean all of that. i think my point is valid enough to avoid the tone. the escher analogy is just a tad exagerated, dont you think? considering he drew the shadow, the bump, the reflectivity, the specular as well as the shape and material. the entirety of zbrush is our “pencil”. i think jackson polloks use of splattering paint would be a better analogy to use in regards to the zsphere effect. no offense to you, Erklaerbar.

all work and no play makes jack a dull boy;)

sorry about getting upity

i say it out of respect.
