Here is a script showing the way to make a wing with some textured feathers. A scanned feather works more nice and the wing has to be made of more feather planes. This is just showing how to do. Remind the script does not show when I go in projection master.wing.zip (110 KB)
…of a simple ZScript !
Fractal use of Zbrush ! (What a prog! )
And what a teacher this Bas

Ron, here is the tutorial. I hope it’s more clear this way.
Frickin’ nice… like sharks with laser beams attached to their heads!
Seriously, nice tutorial Baz! It tis rockin.
That’s sweet work there Baz…
Youre a genius, Bas. This new technique could be used for clothing as well.
A horrible demonstration of clothing in the pic below. I was in a hurry.D
Im, it’s not realy new but another way using the morphtool. Using this methode, you can use the 2.5 brushes and make a texture in the same time.
That’s remind me some discover of Jules Vernes, crazy stuff Baz… and thank you for sharing!!!
Im for just a hat this way is more quick
Interesting idea. Just wish there was some way in Zbrush to build polygons on the back side to make it a closed mesh. I’m sure it’d be a tricky thing to do with displacement maps in place.
Bas, thanks, that is a quicker way and the hat has no choice but to fit perfectly on the head it was sculpted on. Your tips and techniques are always helpful.
Your very high quality artwork as well as your prolificness are inspiring.
An experiment with the fiberbrush, simple brush and three materials.
…chalk drawing or a sort of etching now ?

My Neighbor has a red car. I think I try that on his car door!

The technique is very effective. But I’m particularly taken with your choice of colours … black, green and red is a tough combination to pull off. But succeed you have.
Great stuff!
Thanks for your scripts (please more )
Bas - Just found your wire tut - Lots of uses for that thanks so much
