Hello All, this is a just a model i did in Silo, goofing off trying to learn silo. I then brought it into ZBrush and added detail etc. I did some diff. color versions and had to once again paint it in a pose with the paintbrush opposed to using PM. I will have thumbnails of my diff. color models and the one pic of how PM messed up. By the way the dinosaur is a baby dinosaur and one of my own thought and creation. So I purposely did the proportions the way I did etc.

He very lovely. And where his mother:lol:  ?
nice texture work.
i would put more time on the model thou.
did you start with a concept?
I unfortunately didn’t work from a concept, I just followed a tutorial on silo modeling and altered the model a bit. I constantly get told that I finish modedls before they are supposed to be finished when the anatomy and volume of the model is not done good enough. My analogy for this is you can have a drawing with beautiful color and shading but if the foundation of the drawing or anatomy of it isn’t good then it will show or if you have an excellent animation with great characters but the story isn’t solid or good then it will show through. So I do understand the problem I have with all of my models. I also need to reference stuff much more than I do. Unfortunately I have not had training on how to create correct topology or good structured models, and I must say training yourself is tough. Excuses aside my next project will be simple but hopefully good, I am going to do a simple human hand. Thank you all for your feedback.
