Wip of a dog im making.
C and C welcome
Nice job on the dog so far…Great proportions
I’m not too sure about the feet?
Ill post an update tomo. Yes the feet are bugging me. Ive tried opening his mouth and its very strange looking. Might go for a growl and give him an owner.
Susan? is that you? Why is your username my name. Silly girl.
Looking good. A crit about the horse, its eyes face forward too much, which makes it look predatory and dog like. Swing them out more to the side of the head and it should give a more horselike look. Your anatomy is looking good.
i dare you to make him musclier…
rouncer. Im trying im trying haha
phakscion. Yes correct. I’ll stick some spheres in there and work around them.
Thanks for looking and the feedback.
He still needs some work but any crits or comments welcome.
Think he needs a jockey
Any thoughts on how to make these two look a little less bored would be awesome.
Straps and clothing for the jockey to come
C and C very welcome
Thanks
I think that’s quite simple: make it less symmetrical. the pose is quite dynamic, but seems 100% symmetrical on both which makes it a little stiff despite of the dynamic pose.
and you could go a little exaggerated with the horse and make the neck more curvy( in the side view)
btw, the guy’s feet seem a little on the big side.
great work though. could turn out fantastic when done.
The ears on horses tend to go forward when they jump They need to listen to what might be over the fence
Thanks Julian!
Yeah I agree about the symmetry
Thanks for looking
Hi. Here is an update on the jockey. Have i gone a bit mental with the wrinkles? Like his clothes have melted? HA
Any thoughts would be nice. Try to ignore his crippled looking hands.
Thanks
Hi Gingerrichd!
I ride racing horses every day and have a lot to do with jockeys. So maybe I look with a special Eye to your jockey.
What I find first to crit are his hands. Most racing-horses are hard to ride an you have to hold the reins as close as possible. Most jockeys do this with fists, pushed down on the neck of the horse.
Next are his toes. They have to come up much higher. His knees should come more stretched and his butt has to come higher. Nearly the same level like the head.
Greetz
The jockey would look killer on a little antigrav motorbike in that position, though!
Great work!
Ahh i see. Thanks for the insiders tip. I was wondering what they actually do with their hands and a fist on the neck makes sense. Cheers for looking. Ill make him an antigravity bike one day.
That is a pretty cool sculpture Toruk
Here is an update.
Any crits and comments would be awesomesmall_orange_diamond
??
Thank you

That’s very good. It REALLY looks like he’s raised out of the saddle, supporting his weight through his knees.
And the new grip looks far better.
Great work!
Is he going to have hair eventually, or is it a bald look for minimum wind resistance?
