Does Zbrush have a solid tool or utility for making webbing like structures?

Specifically, veins and arteries. I’m rebuilding the human body layer by layer (skeleton, muscles, organs, etc) and I’m at the circulatory system stage late in. I’m somewhat struggling with a good way to make a fully meshed circulatory system. My original plan was zSpheres, but the two key issues facing zSpheres is (to my knowledge):

  1. the arms between each sphere are straight, meaning to get a nice curvy effect I’d need to draw in lots of interconnecting spheres (or modify it once converted to a skin), and

2: the spheres cannot interconnect like a web, rather they branch out like a tree.

So is there a better solution I should look into by chance?

You can see how veins tend to flow into one another.

I’d use ZSketch. You can easily draw the veins on top of the muscles (just append a zsphere as a new subtool and make sure Ghost is off). And you can use Dynamesh to remesh if you want to.

I suggest just the Extraction method with a mask.
