Does CTRL+Transpose have problems with big meshs?

I had a mesh thats about 5 feet in centimeters imported from maya and sized properly. For some reason holding ctrl+transpose for quick masking doesnt work. However when i unified the model, it worked perfectly. I tried it with another random mesh and same thing.

Is the transpose quick mask limited to small meshs or something? Deformation + Unify makes the mesh tiny, enough so that I need to turn off Dynamic whenever I want small details.

Any help?

ZBrush prefers models which are scaled similar to what you get using Deformation>Unify. With very large or very small models the sculpting brushes and other operations may not work as expected.

I have used a lot of times unify to fit an incoming model to the same scale than the host, for example after appending. This makes me think than unify is rather a relative tool for size rather than absolute. But having in mind that Zbrush can be difficult to predict in this area I really don’t know.
