Do i need to keep my PSDs when im finished with a brush?

Do i need to keep my PSDs when i’m finished with a brush? Like, i got leftover PSDs from the brush icon file, from the actual alpha, etc. and i want to get rid of them, or at least move them to another folder. Does the brush file copy all that stuff into it when i save a brush off? or is it referencing those PSDs in some way?

They’re saved with the brush so you as long as you save the brush the alpha and/or texture will be saved with it.
