Thank you Nassosa!

Slocik, hey, well I figured some time ago that my windows watch was a distraction for me, so I’ve removed it, resulting both I don’t get distracted with numbers any more, and often don’t know when’s lunch time as well. About the speed of my modeling, I did more the kind of speedies before, and now the timeframe shortened with experience and to a degree established workflows (I don’t really use the same workflow twice for my private works). The difference between those earlier models and these recent is that they seem more finished, with a lot more detail, I’ve found a great way to put the pores for example when sculpting Brando, in no time at all: I’ll use surface noise, but mask around the areas where there aren’t pronounced pores such as the eyes and some other places, and then gain apply the noise surface for the bumps on the skin but with different setting, and for some moles and imperfections again with a different setting of the surface noise and it’s done in a few minutes. Surface noise give you overall sense of the pores, unlike dragging out alphas, so it’s a very nice thing. That was it for Brando

Hey Polaroid! Yeah I thought you meant that, but I’m afraid I don’t know even how to render in an external software, so learning to create the simulated hair really didn’t come up yet. Some day perhaps

You sir, have improved a lot!..wow great work!! I really didnt like your stuff at first but you have excellent skills hats off to ya.

Thank you so much G-Dub! Well yeah, those models are really not that great but I hold them very dear, and held them very dear cause without them these new ones wouldn’t be possible, and for the most part it was the discovery that made me enthusiastic even more than nowadays. Here’s to Z4 r2 to give us something new to chew on  Thanks once again

Often words as “awesome” and “great” are used but those words really are justified when I see the sculpt of Brando : TOP ROW !!! :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

Asecbrush, thank you so much! You guys have already put me up there with all the great feedback. Thanks

Brando!
A successful approach. Well done.
Great skin BTW.

Thank you Michalis!

Danny Trejo speed sculpt, the same procedure as Brando, a bit more time, 3.5 h. I’ve recorded this session to the half so I’ll upload that at some point. Thank you for visiting

Timelapse, if it’s getting boring I recommend downloading it and then speeding it up in a player, more info about it also on Vimeo.

That’s freaking awesome, let alone for 3.5 hours work.

I was watching something he was in last week, and thought he would be an interesting man to sculpt.

Great impressive portrait. :+1:
Cherub, it’s time for you to start a new thread.

Thank you guys! Gordon, yes he’s very good to let loose sculpting on  I saw Machete the other day and had to give it a go.
Michalis, I am not giving up on this one, my man Aurick will work the no icon in bottom row for us most popular

Ok you are really starting to piss me off:)
another great one

Hey Cherub! Just wanted to say it’s a blast to see the progress throughout your thread! In your Machete piece, did you do most of the wrinkles with alphas? And if so, just the standard ones?

Ah cherub, I will be waiting for video to steal your awesome sculpting powers! Great

damn. nice one cherub!!! spot on!

That, sir, is a face sculpted with extreme character! Very well done. Looking at Trejo’s face, I noticed that your lines and volumes are boldly describing the contours of the face. I think that boldness is what makes this such a wonderful likeness, as it captures the character of the man not just the appearance.

Sweet cherub, spot on:+1:

woooo epic!

dang

Wow, that is just amazing. Great job!
