Hey Sparky! I will probably texture it at some point, but it’s really no use because I don’t know how to pull of a decent render outside Zbrush, hehe.

it depends on the 3d packages you have, like maya and what not
if its going to be a low poly, use UDK, marmoset, shot
But if you just have photoshop, you can get some epic composites from there, you just need to export the different BRP renders, layer them in photoshop, using multiply and what not, and hay presto and epic render

But I think it depends on my lack of knowledge in rendering primarily I’ve seen a lot of tutorials, read a lot of tips, both on 3ds max and Zbrush rendering, but I still fail to make a render that is not a simulation of what I see in the tutorials. If there is a tutorial out there to make it all clear and not a step by step tutorial, please let me know about it

I’ve got a green light to publish this.
It was a model I’ve created for a Croatian video game The Red Solstice as a bonus creature.
I’ve went off concept and created my own version, and then another artist took it and adjusted it to better fit the world of the game.
Everything was created in Zbrush, and then retopoed with 3dcoat, and the uv’s were unwrapped with headus.

Oh the beard, I saw that webcast on pixologic.com, with the guy that did the iceage squirrel, but I don’t use his techniqe the slash2 and claytubes which I have at first, but extract-move to shape, damien standard for the hairs and then snakehook
The armor looks nice with a metal material. I’ll unwrap and texture probably.
