Love the 3D image, thinking man pose isn’t it?

Thanks! Yes, a smilar kind of pose, as raw described. Except right hand isn’t on the chin, but resting on the left shoulder.

Damn! I am one of those people who just cant see these things no matter how I try - just not wired that way I just not got a magic eye. Any chance a non magic render?

I’ll post the unhiden when I finish it. You certainly can try by staring blank at it till everything becomes blurry at first, like when you get “detached” sometimes and you wonder away. It really is a simulation at staring at a point beyond the picture, or parallel viewing where eyes don’t focus on one point but each on it’s own, they cn’t really but that way they focus on each owns point in space and the result is blurry vision, yeah I know it’s not the same thing but the second one maybe better explains how to approach it at first.

cherub, is it intentionally inverted? it looks like a mold of a figure.

actually… I shouldn’t be seeing anything because you are not posting anything

seriously though -how did you do it?

btw, it totally helps to stare at it when you just got up. it needs that blank pointless stare before the first cup of coffee

Hey, do you really see it inverted? Hm…that’s odd to me. I see it normally. Perhaps something to do with the distance you’re watching it from, or maybe the eyesight? I dunno, as I see it normally, so I’m just assuming.

Here’s the site to create your own http://www.easystereogrambuilder.com/magic-eye-stereogram-maker.aspx

It’s called autostereogram, so you can browse the net for excitement and pracitce

I never could see thouse things (i know im not doing it right but still i cant:confused:small_orange_diamond:angry: )

I encourage you not to give up. I recall it took me 15 minutes to figure it out the first time I was intorduced to it. But to this day, and it’s been 8 years since first time I saw them. I haven’t forgot it.

This is what I see…A human figure, head bowed, right hand on left shoulder, left hand on right elbow.

Yes, that’s my selfportrait I’m doing base on circular photographs  I’ve then used the depth channelt to mix it with one of the template backgrounds of the afore mentioned site.

I did notice that the viewing distance can change it. I also saw it inverted until I got closer.

Ummm… what is it?

wtf?? I tried many of them on that site and I can pretty quickly and easily see the effect, but all inverted? how weird is that. never had that in the past.

btw, it helps to cross your eyes a bit and right when you let them slide back into normal position you should get it.

What I find interesting is, I saw it inverted the first time, moved closer, saw it properly, and now for the life of me can not see it inverted. Very strange how the mind works!

Hej Julian, try this, this is the inverted alpha of the same image. Maybe you’ll see this the right way then. Please tell us (this is inverted to my brain)

that is so bizarre. sure enough it is coming out now, but I mean REALLY coming out like i have never seen before. usually you have the feeling you look into a shopping window and there behind the glass it’'s all 3dimensional. but this now reaches out of my screen and the front part is hovering above my coffee cup on the table.
oddly enough, depending on how I look I either get the figure or something which is more an abstract object but still totally 3d.

something must have changed in my brain ever since I looked at such images the last time. I’m probably going bonkers

Haha, very cool  Maybe a doctor visit wouldn’t hurt hehe.

P.S. you described you were doing it crosseyed and letting crosseyed go, I tried that and it’s protruding, maybe that’s the answer. If you’re getting the image with myself and one arm on the shoulder and the other on it’s elbow with the head bent down, than it’s really something strange, but if you see it abstract, you shouldn’t watch crosseyed but parallel eyed.

woah…!!! magic eye. hahaha. that is the first ive seen a magic eye in like 15 years let alone on zbrush central. cherub, for a moment i thought you had just repeated a texture on backdrop, haha. wasnt sure where you were going with it. but wow… can i ask a question. and feel free not to answer it, but how does a person go about making a magic eye picture? ive wondered about it since i was 14 years old.

Very cool, I had see one in quite some time either. There seems to be one small section of pixals sitting out forward of the forhead, is that intended Cherub?

Hey! Glad you liked it

As far as creating it it’s a mystery to me as well hehe, but check this site out http://www.easystereogrambuilder.co…gram-maker.aspx it let’s you import your own background (I hadn’t had any luck doing that the way I liked) and your depth image of your 3d model, and mixes them tohether to produce it. Enjoy and share

Hey Ezra, It puzzles me as well hehe. No no intention there, maybe too much sdetails (eyes etc) so the background pattern breaks there,
