Thank you Rodion!
Here’s Nanny Ogg I’ve created as a template for a rendering and compositing challenge (link in my sig)

Always a pleasure to visit this thread.
Great job here.
Just keeps getting better…GREAT JOB…
Thanks guys!
Your skill level has come a loooooong way since you began. Way to keep at it.
Thank you Kyphur! Still a lot to learn
Here’s some ps compositing
Hey cherub i see i missed a lot of great progress here!
Loads of great sculpts, i especially like the smurfs, the catarpillar and papa - great expression on him
Thank you schiefer! I’m struggling a bit with endering an conmpositing. Any good tuts on sss rendering and ps compositing? I’ve seen a few but they weren’t exactly what I was looking for - realistic rendering?
Just playing with the bpr renderer of z4 and having lots of fun Suddenly the images make a lot more sense for me lacking knowledge of rendering in an external 3D package.

Ok iv just scrolled thru every single page in the thread and have been majorly inspired, you have improved so much from when you 1st begain. i hope one day i will be as good as u.
Thanks
Thank you very much ironknukles, glad it was inspiring, and hope you get there your own way
hey cherub , same over here so far, but it seems with the new zb4 bpr rendering possibilites everything gets easier, have to try that too
looking cool dude
Playing too here with the new toy!
Nice renders cherub!
In my tests I’m in front of wrong geometry in castshadows.
Here it looks OK but I’m not sure. Any tips here?
Schiefer, thanks! Yeah the fun continues
Michalis, thank you, well I’m not quite sure, I put in the numbers used by Majid (one of the beta testers who’s work is published under the beta testers forum), and then started playing with increasing and decreasing from there to see what happens I’ve noticed though that his setup is ok for the shaded models but too rough for the colored ones. So a lot to learn still
The resolution of bpr shadows is crucial, 3000 is maybe not enough. But I still have wrong castshadows geometry and I think this is all what this render can do, this isn’t a raytracing, these are buffered shadows. But we have a better preview now. If only camera was better! I still have to edit sculpture in blender after testing a real renderer. This is a pain for me.
Lotsa’ great updates man (me always likes anatomy studies) The Rickman sculpt is coming along great
