I always thought getting any stars was good, hehe. Like 3 wasn’t average, so even if you got just 1 it meant I like this a little bit, keep it up. Getting 3 would mean, this is quite good, keep going! While 5 would be “amazing, you’re one of the better sculptors I’ve seen”.
I can see my thinking is a bit silly, but there’s so many threads with no stars at all.
Always do a couple of tests before I begin to sculpt for real, to anticipate possible problems and find solution before the final sculpt. This is one of them.

Edit: why can’t this be in bottom row? it’s a wip, is that a crime? cause i see a lot of wip’s in the bottom row, why is mine constantly switched to atn? I would like to get some comments and critics as I model, and I can’t if nobody sees my work. Thanks

looking good so far…i like the neutral pose that’s he’s in w/ the head leaning forward…i don’t see any probs w/ the proportions…the ears look a lil small, but that just might be the angle of the shots…keep it coming

Hey Daniel, no problem. The reason the comment in your thread didn’t show immediately is actually that same sincerity, some just don’t take it that well around here, so they send complaints to moderators and they degrade my account for a couple of weeks from time to time, and it acts like that of a new member - can’t grade, don’t get published right away, can’t send private messages. In the interest of full disclosure, I do from time to time find myself being less tolerant, so sometimes I really do have it coming. But the bottom line is I wouldn’t comment if I didn’t see room for progress and am really only trying to help. But sometimes, I was a little lazy to read the whole sketchbook to find out for example that a person who’s work I’m commenting isn’t trying to get the character down, but mostly concentrating on rendering, and here I give a critique on behalf on modeling and animosity starts. So here I apologize to all found offended by my comments. But not to those who can’t take the criticism, not only good but bad as well.

Thanks dustinbrown, really means a lot. I’m spending so much time on it, and am afraid that I’m leaving out a bone here and there because of focusing on similarity. I’ll pull out my anatomy atlas soon enough for a checkup. If I’m missing something feel free to point it out, save me the trouble of long day ponderings
