I downloaded the materials and lights posted here somewhere for these. I think they are awsome thank you for posting these! They realy bring out depth to the renders. Reminds me of a red jewelers wax i used to sculpt with. I had a dentist tool and a torch and i melted with it was quite fun! got me in to Cal arts, at least for a summer.
something for fun. I need to build me a better computer.

Great modeling. I especially like the full figured (elf?) in the red set. Any idea where you found the lights and material? I’d like to check them out myself.
the material i got from a post called "materials for download ",was started by Mahlikus The Black, can probubly just search the name here.
The lights i cant remember, was somebodys light setup here.

I guess you could call that one model an elf, I sort of think it looks more liek a goblin now. I was just trying to make a whole body with the z sphers to get an idea of how much work it would be. My computer does not like those.:lol:
That’s funny…right after I posted, I took another look at the character and immediately thought, “No. He’s more of a goblin.” So, I’m glad you clarified. I forgot about good ole Mahlikus…he’s the goto source for materials much of the time. Thanks!

I just put the picture from the movie on there to learn how to do it.
I am still completly confused about the alphas and texture in zbrush. I figured out how to put that picture on the box though.:lol:
