Display Colors [Answered]

Hi there,

its a fine thing to choose brushes with hotkeys, for example b=>t=>f chooses immediately the TrimFront-Brush.

The problem is, that you have to learn the most important hotkeys by heart, and so, first, you have to decipher the super-small letters in the brush palette.

I searched, but I could not find a color in the preferences to change this color in a one, what makes a good contrast. In my default environment the brush palette appears in a light grey, the brush letters in green, it´s very hard to see it.

Is there a button to change this color anywhere?

If not, I have to buy new glasses.

You can change the interface colors in the Preferences>Icolors menu. The Brush letters color is SW2 in the forth row down. Remember to either save the UI colors through the same menu or store your custom config using Shift+Ctrl+i.

Also, remember that you can assign your own hotkeys to brushes you use really often:

  1. Select the Brush you want to give a hotkey.
  2. Switch to a different brush. This ensures that the brush you want is in the main Brush palette but is not the selected (large thumbnail).
  3. Ctrl+Alt+click on the small thumbnail for your brush and assign the hotkey of your choice.
  4. Save the new hotkey before exiting ZBrush, Preferences>Hotkeys>Store.

Hi Marcus,

thanks for your fast reply, you are right, it´s the SW2-Button

The setting for the hotkey I do know, it´s a real fine thing.

Greetings,

Stephan
