Displacement maps for 3d printing.

Hey guys

Hopefully I am posting this in the right section. I was just playing around making some scenery pieces and I was wondering if I would be able to make a tileable height map and use it to displace a mesh in order to create a piece for 3d printing. Has anyone printed a mesh created with displacement before? I like the idea of using the displacement simply because it keeps everything so consistent.

Anyway if anyone has any ideas about the subject I’d greatly appreciate it :smiley:
