I have a model that I imported into Maya. I set up the displacement map and the color texture on the model. The issue is when I render the model with the approximation N Subdivision setting at 4 or above, the UV’s get messed up. Which in turn messes up my texture. If the N Subdivision setting is 3.99 or less the texture is fine, but there is not enough detail from the displacement map.
Keep in mind that the texture is not complete. So the wireframe is from the uncolored texture.
You can see in the first render (Nsubdivision at 3.99) that the Uv wireframe is starting the dissapear around the dragons nose.
Please help. My demo reel is almost due and this is a large portion on it.
