Hey
I am having trouble with my displacement maps coming from Zbrush 4 to maya.
When i render in in Maya. with production quality and mental ray, all of the edges of my building round out and deform and stretch way out of whack. almost as if it has been smoothed.
i am exporting with DPSubPix of 3
and from the lowest subdivision level.
My Uv’s are properly laid out.
Mode is on
Adaptive and Smooth UV’s are off.
i am at a loss with this. in the past i have just avoided displacement maps for this very problem alone.
