Hi everyone,
I am having issues with my displacement map not showing up in my Render View. I am using ZBrush 4R8 and Maya 2016/mental ray.
My displacement map worked fine on my model, but I decided to tweak a few areas on my model, so I went back in to ZBrush, sculpted some more, and exported the new DM using the same Export Options.
I have attached the old and new DMs. Can someone please help me figure out what I did differently? I notice the old map is much brighter than the new map, but I can’t figure out what settings changed?
My Export Options are:
-SubDiv level 1 (I have tried exporting it on higher sub divs, just for the hell of it)
-Adaptive On
-Smooth UV On
-32 Bit and exr On
Map size is 2048 and I have FlipV On.


I have tried turning on/off smooth uv and adaptive, just to see if it made a difference, but no luck.
Any insight is very appreciated! Thank you,
