Hi, i’m having some problem with displacement map in Zbrush, normally when i export 32bit floating points map, it will usually export a good 32bit map like this one:

But recently for some model (it seems this happen randomly) , zbrush exported a map like this:

Here’s the original model:

which is very bad because it didnt cover all the details i needed. I’ve checked and there’s no hidden value inside the black pixel u see in the pic, when render it just gave me a flat area.
And here’s my usual setting, i’m exporting displacement for 3dsmax

Does any body know a solution or the origin of this problem? because i cant seems to find much option in the displacement map option of Zbrush. Most of displacement tutorial i found are quite old, for older version of Zbrush and using Zmapper.
Also does anybody know a good setting for Vray in 3dsmax for displacement too ? i usually use Vraydisplacement mod , left the displacement amount at 1.0 and displacement offset at -0.5 and it does the job most of the time. But sometimes the offset amount must be a weird number like -0.21 for the model to render property, i have no idea why.
Thanks alot in advance !
p.s: i cant seems to upload images to Zbrushcentral right now, i dont know why, i have changed my post to direct link so anyone can view it.
