Why would you need a disp. map for this type of character specifically? He has no amount of detail and would be perfectly fine if it was smoothed in Maya…but thats just my opinion.
yeah you are right, but this is just the body. With the face i have the same problem and there i would like to create wrinkles, pores and so on.
Can somebody tell me how should i create a displacement map in zbrush and how do i import it in Autodesk Maya. Is there any tutorial etc.
It looks as if you havent displaced anything yet. Also, the mesh is not divided enough if you want fine details such as wrinkles or folds in the clothing. I wouldnt worry about displacement maps and focus more of normal mapping. If you were wanting to do extremely high polyed items then try a displacement map. You can do quite a lot with a normal map my friend. Base mesh looks good though.
