I love the sculpting freedom and level of detail that working in Dynamesh can offer but I want to know how I can retain those details for use on an animation friendly model.
This is my current workflow (but want to change to utilise the benefits of Dynamesh):
- Build my low poly animation friendly character in a 3d package (I use Modo)
- Bring that model into ZBrush to paint a displacment map.
- Export displacement map for re applying to model for rendering back in Modo. (I dont use GoZ btw)
I know I can sculpt a detailed model with Dynamesh then use ZRemesher to export a lower poly/animation friendly model from that. But what about all of the finely sculpted details?
Is there a way to export a displacement map along with it to reapply to my lower poly model back over in Modo and retain the detail created in Dynamesh?
Thanks
