After much frustration and experimenting, I found the best Disp Map settings that work for me is to check Adaptive/DPSubPix 4/Mid.5/16 bit. Whats helped the most is stepping down to level 2 or 3, depending on how much detail is needed, and delete the lower levels. Normal map settings Tangent/Adaptive. I press GoZ and render in Mental Ray at production settings. I’ve tried adjusting Approximation Editor settings but see no difference. Attached is my ZB sculpt and render.
