I have a 3ds model that i want to spice up with zbrush, but i think i my workflow might be wrong.
What confuses me is that if i generate a displacement map of my original, unmodified mesh, the map already has “detail” in it, that is the map generated is not completely gray. So when i take that map back onto my model in 3ds, the displacement map distorts it.
I’ve read a load of tutorials but can’t seem to figure this out.
