Hi all!
I have a bug!
I had a mesh without UV coordinates, imported it into Zbrush, then sculpted it. once finish, I did unwrap on my original basemesh in max (topology has not changed) and then put my Ztool at the basemesh iteration, then I imported my new mesh and it replaced the base mesh by this new basemesh.
BUT! when I extract the displacement map… I gonna this craped faceted map! Can’t use it at all! Someone know how ( if possible) to correct it???
I also tried something else, I tried to put my ZTL tool to the max subdivision, and then import the mesh ( the low one who is unwrapped) and click yes on project details … but what happen is… there is no details at all projected on the model! nothing! so, it do not work! I use Zbrush 4, by the way, (not the latest revision…)
I tried something else, I tried to extract the map from mudbox… same **** map! the map is faceted.
But when I sculpt on my low mesh that has the new unwrap on it, in Zbrush, the map it get out is correct! so it’s not my unwrap the problem… so WTF is going here?? really frustrating me at this moment! I will NEVER EVER resculpt a mesh before having unwrap done on the model and doing some simple test to see if the displacement map output is good…
