Displacement error in Modo

Hi, hope someone can tell me what’s going wrong here.

I have a model done in Zbrush, I exported the Obj files, Displacement and Normal Maps and opened them in Modo.

Here’s a screenshot of a detail of the model showing a foot that is coming out particularly badly.

You can see how it’s rendered with the Displacement Map applied and the settings of the Map and Shader Tree.
At the bottom of the image a screenshot of the same foot in Zbrush, the settings for the Displacement Map used in Zbrush and a little display of the Map itself, just to show that it’s actually quite smooth.

As the image shows the displacement creates some seriously visible artifacts and I can’t understand why.
I’m on a PC using Vista 64.
