Displacement artifacting

Hi.

Can someone please tell me why I am getting these artifact lines in my displ map?

I am using the riptide pro plugin from c4d to export to Zbrush {so I can maintain selection sets} - set the morph target and sculpted up to level 6 or 8.9mil polys - go down to level 1 switch,select head only {multiple UV tiles with clean UVs} and generate a displacement map,and I keep getting these artifacts.

That’s one I haven’t seen before. It almost looks like you might have points being pulled across the map.

What do you see if you use the UV Check feature? What does your UV map itself look like? Are any points at the edge of the UV space?
