displacement and normal maps menus, any explanation??

hi guys, i’m a maya user. I’m new to zbrush, and i usually use it to make my normal and displacement maps. I’ve downloaded the zbrush documentation but it doesnt explain all the options of the displacement and normal maps. I’ve seen tons and tons of tuts about normal and displacement. Being that these menus had been recently modified for the 3.2 (mac) and 3.5r3 (pc) versions there’s no information i’know about this important menus.
Does anyone knows any place where i can get some info about it?

First create your UV mapping in Maya or in zbrush, setting the texture size in the Tool / UV Map palette.

do you know if there’s also something about the uv map menu??
as i’ve said, im new to zbrush and a few times i’ve tried to make some polypainting but the uv seams are too evident and i can’t get to fix them
