I’m working on a character wich has 20 different Ztools, but i planned to have just 4 displacement maps, is there a way to create them in Zbrush instead to create 20 maps in Zbrush and then go inside photoshop and cut and paste them to make 4 maps??
I need to do the same thing for the normal maps.
Thanks
you can merge some subtools and make maps.it will do if you have proper uvs or UV master will do
Ya i did that, i’ve merged 3 or 4 subtools but i cannot do it for all of them.
Also i don’t know how to set the alpha gain when i have to make a render, i mean if i create a displacement map for each subtools and then i merge them in photoshop to have just one map , how can i set the alpha gain values?? i mean if u export a .ma file with the subtool and the displacement map from Zbrush and you open it in maya , the alpha gain has the right value, but if you create many displacement maps in Zbrush and then you merge them in photoshop to have just one map how can you find out wich alpha gain value you have to set in maya to be able to render everything correctly?? <img src=“http://www.zbrushcentral.com/pixo/atn.gif”>
hai bro, what is the need of getting one map to all.what’s the problem with many polymodel in maya.you can export each won from zbrush to maya and use them,is’nt it.
