Disabling UV's & Colorize

I’m following a tutorial, which I think was linked to an older version of ZBrush. I think it was also made within Windows.

The steps I’m having problems with are ‘Disable UV’. The instructions state: under Tool/Texture, click on Disable UV.
However on my Mac version (3.2) there is no Texture palette under Tool, but there is Texture Map. There is also no UV controller under this Texture Map.

Under Tool/UV Map I have found Delete UV. Does this have the same result as ‘Disable UV’?

I also found that Colorize is under Polypaint on Mac 3.2 version and not under Texture as mentioned in the Tutorial.

Any confirmations would be gratefully received.

Under polypaint, make sure colorize is on and under Texture, make sure Texture is off.

You should be able to polypaint. I don’t think you need to do anything about UVs if you don’t want to at this point.

After you have finished painiting your subtool and you want to make a texture map from your polypaint, make sure that your subtool does have UVs (such as the different tiling methods) and and use the “New from Polypaint” button.
