Is there a way to set the Directional Brush so that it remembers my brush settings? Every time I pick up my tool up out of PM, the next time I drop it, the Directional Brush is back to the default settings. I want RGB disabled, ZAdd enabled, and a specific Z Intensity setting to remain set as I pick up and drop my tool in and out of PM.

I’ve tried saving out another directional brush ZTL. I set everything the way I wanted it and saved it as DirectionalBrush2.ztl, but that didn’t do the trick.

Yeah, but then wouldn’t I have to run the macro every time I drop the tool? Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it, but that still seems unnecessarily redundant.

well its only one click, and also then you’ll have it for future sessions

You know, I have to admit. That’s not too bad. Especially with the Macro pallet docked to the right panel. Thanks for encouraging me to try macros out.
