cool¡¡

Its hard to judge the model from this angle, i like the horn-material but it looks
like the skull-form is to soft, i would like to see more of the skull anatomy translated into the skin and softer tissue…it could use more definition !
jantim
As mentioned above, the horn material is nice. The triceratops Looks friendly.
more snapshots i hope your opinions again.
I show you the dino in some positions to judge it.
Greetings.

dinoceratops is a broad style¡
i like the wrinkles¡¡
Congratulations¡
Andreseloy
Since no one ever saw a live “dinoceratops”… "!..it seems strange to say that it doesn’t look like a real one , but seeing it from all these angles i still think it looks a bit to soft !
But perhaps there are real dinosaur experts on this forum…
jantim
are you jantim?

Andreseloy

Thanks for the replies.
Andreseloy: Eres un gran apoyo con tus palabras amigo, gracias de veras.
Dr Jantim Grant
: Thanks for your words but i cant understand your advices, can you put me an example. Thanks a lot friend.
Dr Jantim Grant searched in his library for a Dinoceratops image…and found one
.

I made red lines around areas that have diff’rent altitudes on the skull, all these areas can be made sharper and more pronounced on your model as well !
I think you used surface variations…but they don’t stand out, in combination with lighting that does not bring out the shapes it lookes to soft and “chubby” .
Perhaps working with the “pinch” &" nudge" brush can help as well !
jantim
An update of the dinoceratops, i hope is better now. Not chubby i hope
.
Special thanks to Jantim fot the tips and advices.

There’s better lighting and better definition on the dinohead…your dino has been
to the “weightwatchers” …
jantim
