Hello there,

Nick Zuccarello (NickZ.) here. I wanted to let you all know about a new website that I have created that will allow me to distribute free art/resources and allow me to have a space to sell my digital assets as well.

Yesterday I released a new free base human mesh

on my one of my older threads here on ZBC.

Today I am creating a new clean post that will have all things related to Digital3DModels.com

I would like to open the site by providing a new ZStartup Project that I have been using.

I have a new 3D model that you can download for free. I’ve been working with another talented artist, Russell Barton, to try and work out the topology from my previous model in order to build a base mesh that can not only be used to generated a male model but a female model as well.

This model comes with pre-defined polygroups, UV’s and some extra subtools that should easily help you realize your own character without having to worry about the technical details to get up and sculpting as fast as possible.

The model also comes with three 3D layers, armsUp, armsToSide and mouthOpen.

man i got to say , playing around with your materail and combining it with other zrbsuh ones produces some great results !!! Thanks a lot. And its funny i stumbled onto the site in the morning and when i come back from work you post it here ;D

Were the UVs done with UV Master or in an external app?

Thank you soooooooo much:D. How do I apply the custom mat after creating my own with the provided PS file? Do I just grab any mat in zbrush and change the texture to the one I created?

Hey Nick, thanks for all the great resources you made available to the community.
I’ll try your new basemesh as soon as possible, and when i’ll have some more bucks i’ll buy some stuff on your website!

The video on the first page @ 6:10 into the video covers how to save your image, load it into ZB and then apply the image to the material. It’s pretty easy after you have done it a few times.

All UV’s were created in Maya, mainly using the unfold and relax. I like to make the computer do as much work as possible when making UV’s!
