different mat for the image plane

Hi guys, I’m starting to look at the image plane technique in zbrush like this tutorial says but I have a problem… I cannot give to the “X-Plane” a different mat from the model.
I follow the instructions from the linked tutorial but it doesn’t work. Am I missing something else that I don’t know?
Could somebody help me please? Thanks in advance

Be certain you have MRGB enabled when you perform the Color>Fill Object Operation.

Ok, this time worked having the Mrgb activated while changing the material and just M while using “fill object”. Thanks

That’s a ridiculous tutorial. There’s no information about how the image was actually mapped to the plane geometry. Instead the author just provides a download link to geometry with no information about how it was created. What if I don’t want to use skulls?

I know, that’s why I looked for video. Here you have the link if you want to have a look at it.
