Dexter - Unknown Man

Hi,

This project started as an ZBrush texturing exercise and ended up in this image.
Base mesh is modeled in Cinema 4D, all textures are made with ZBrush. The clothes have been rendered in Cinema whereas ZBrush’s renderer has been used for the face. I composed both renderes later in Photoshop. I also rendered multiple passes of the image to have more control over the shader properties.

The tiny little hair on the ear and back are done with Cinema hair :) For texturing the face, I think I used not less than 10 reference images from [www.3d.sk](http://www.3d.sk/).

Slosh: About the eyes: Since this model wasn’t meant to be animated, I simply projected a texture on the eyes. All highlights are part of this texture. The eyes itself are a simple sphere with a slight extrusion for the iris.

thanks for the info, petz. I really like the realism with the eyes. The rest is great, too, don’t get me wrong. But the eyes draw me in.
