Devil (cartoon) character

hes so cute hes sinister XD i love him! Would loved to see him in is P-Oed pose, probably be scary.

He looks like Jack Black.

Love it.:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

He looks awesome! Did you model the teeth seperately? If so, did you just hide the poly’s for the mouth that are on the base mesh in your 3d package?

REALLY COOL!!

Top row work man

5 stars *****

What does the geometry in the mouth look like? I’m curious on how you did the interior.

hi guy what a lovely evil…

I like your devil so mush!
great design!

Just excellent Michael !
Another cool stuff from you !
Cheers !

Love the style… Great work!

so cool.love the colors and the face.lol

Wonderful piece Michael! No question about it!

I dig your render setup. The lighting and shader of the body is really piece of art!

Could you put some light into your lights setup (i.e. LW screenshot) and shader preset? Is the shader a standard one or some custom one? I like how it manages the broad rim highlights.

Are there any PS touchups/ overpaints or its a pure rendering (still wondering if you lit your character so beautifuly or paint this and that then)

Thank you for your time.

zbrush is “the” natural medium for working on portrait, as it match all the necessary steps to work on that; more or less, there are three main ingredients: having around his screen differents photos of the subject, preferably all at the same definition, and all black and white; of course, face and profil; working on the head allthe parts at the same “level”; don’t finish an eyes, with the rest “fuzzy”; and, last, going out of the symmetry mode as soon as possible, in other words as soon as you have the main shape of the head… the likeness has to be “decent” withouit the texture, in fact the mesh must go “stand alone”, woithout texture… zbrush is perfect for doing that job, as all of that is it’s natrural use!.. the main difference in caricature is that a caricature is going to be “ok” in one point of view; it’s not possible, most of the time, to manage exagerations “possible” on all the point of view!.. oh, I had a lot of fun, showing old westerns movies of sergio leone to my son, and the subjects reflect that!..
