Detail transfer over same base mesh with diferent pose

Hi!

I was wondering… is it possible to transfere detail from a human model to a copy of the same base mesh of that human model wish is in another pose but with no detail?

I have been palying with a base mesh giving detail to it.
here:

Then i got a copy of the sabe base mesh, but with no work on it ( No detail ) and i started to play with transpose tool.
result:

No i wanted to put the detail of the base mesh in the first image into the same base mesh in the secund image. - The base mesh is the same!

I realy like that pose and i realy cant replicate the same pose again… and i cant detail that base mesh as good again… begginers luck!

So, is taht possible? Transfering detail from one base mesh to onother equal base mesh?

Thank you.!!

You may be able to do this by the following:

  1. Make sure you have a posed version of your level 1 mesh in OBJ format. You’ll also need a t-posed version of the level 1 mesh in OBJ format, AND a high-res version of the t-pose in either OBJ or ZTL format.

  2. Go to level 1 of your posed mesh and import the t-pose OBJ.
  3. Go to the highest level.
  4. Load the detailed version of the t-pose and append it as a subtool.
  5. Press Tool>SubTool>Project All to transfer the details from the source model. You can then delete the source model. You may need to clean up the transfer a little, too, but it shouldn’t require much since the meshes are very similar.

  6. Return to level 1. Now import your posed version.
It may be necessary to mask your highest level before step 6. I haven’t actually tried this approach, so am not entirely sure if it will work or not.
