Hey guys,
Here’s a sculpt I’ve been working on in between jobs, its been about two weeks so far. It’s still pretty rough, but I want some feedback concerning posing, environments, anatomy etc. I thought ZBC would be the best place to get good feedback.
So this is inspired by “Watanabe No Tsuna”, a Japanese myth about a samurai who fights an Oni, or a Japanese demon that resides near Rashomon gate. I grew up in Tokyo and would see imagery of this myth and always wanted to make a piece about it. Here are some progress shots so far:
Kind of struggling with camera angle and focal length, composition is not my strong point… The demon’s back needs some fixing too
