Deleting large pieces of geometry

Hi. I have a model that I want to delete the neck off of 'cause I don’t like it. It’s the neck of a dragon so it is really large and when I move it with transpose the body and head won’t match up. Smoothing just seems to make it worse. It gets very jagged edge (my topo is made of triangles. :frowning: ) Is there any way to make this neck go away? Do I have to make the topo squares? Is so is there an easy way to make the topo squares?

[1] polish brushs try to polishing that neck to death

[2] clip brushs clip it off

When do I know I’m done polishing and at what subdivision?

Eh it doesn’t matter. I couldn’t figure out the clip brush, kept making a box when I used alt . Never clipped anything. Watched the tutorial and still didn’t help. I was able to just transpose move it and polish. The polish is what I needed thank you soooooo much. You saved my life.
