Is there any way to remove a mesh from a multi mesh brush?

in the subtool menu group split and then you can merge as desired…
Thanks for answer. I may be misunderstanding you.
What I meant was how to you remove the insert brush from the brush itself.
Not once the brush is applied.
It’s just one of those things I was wondering about.
